Students from 1st year up to 6th year have the opportunity to represent the school in soccer at Loreto St. Michaels.
We enter the Leinster FAI schools league and cup competitions.
These run from October through to April/May of the school year.
The teams train once a week and this has been a very popular sports choice in the last few years.
In January this year the 1st year girls attended a Loreto Blitz day in Mullingar and competed against a number of other Loreto schools.
We have had great success in 2025 with both the Senior and Junior Soccer teams winning the East Regional finals and progressing onto the Provisional Semi Finals.
Some of our girls have represented Ireland at underage level and many play at a high level in the Dublin leagues.
It is a growing sport at Loreto and all levels of abilities are encouraged to come and try it out.
