On Tuesday our Senior soccer team played Maynooth CC in the Leinster Division A League Quarter final.
Tough result for our girls yesterday, but a performance full of effort, determination, and heart.
We created plenty of chances and played some fantastic football, but it just wasn’t our day in front of goal. The girls never gave up and battled right until the final whistle — a real testament to their Loreto spirit and teamwork. Maynooth were a strong opposition and credit to them as they were clinical and took their opportunities well. Best of luck to Maynooth in the reminder of the competition.

It was to be a final outing in the Loreto jersey for some our 6th year girls: Abbie, Ashley, Caroline, Donna, Éabha, Erin, Eleanor, Ella, Emily, Holly, Katie, Mia C, Mia M, Niamh, Robin, Sophia, Sophie. Well done to these girls on their achievements and efforts over the last number of years representing our school on the field. We wish the sixth year girls all the best for their upcoming exams.
